How to Compare Two Texts
Normalize formatting first: newlines, spaces and full-width versus half-width characters. A line diff only shows which lines were added or removed, not whether the change is correct; proofread the result manually.
Normalize first
Normalize line endings (LF/CRLF) and trailing spaces so the whole file is not marked changed.
Keep paragraph blank lines; they carry meaning.
Reading the result
+ is added in B, - is removed from A, and blank is unchanged.
Large blocks may be moved paragraphs, not necessarily errors.

Likely different line endings or whitespace; normalize first.
Can it merge?
No; it only shows differences. Use Git or an editor to merge.
